The DNC Platform Committee is a standing committee for the Democratic Party that is responsible for drafting and recommending the parties national platform on current issues for presidential elections. Despite working for Democrats, one member, Lynn Forester de Rothschild, formally a Hillary Clinton supporter, has endorsed Republican nominee John McCain in the 2008 Presidential Election.[1]
