The Golden Treasure of Nagyszentmiklós is a tableware collection of 23 gold pieces found in Nagyszentmiklós, Torontál County, Hungary (currently Sânnicolau Mare, Romania) in 3 July 1799.[1] The treasure is unique in the region; the total weight is 10 kg. Its style cannot be connected to any great cultural centre; most possibly, it is a local product.[2] It has several Rovas inscriptions. Archaeologist Gábor Vékony deciphered them first.[3] The inscription was written with Carpathian Basin Rovas.
