Delta is the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet.
It is shown thus: Δ is the capital, and δ is the small version. The Greek name is "dhelta", "dh" representing the English "th" sound in the word "the". It always has this pronunciation in Greek and is never pronounced "d".
It is used in several ways in modern language.
