Josh McDowell is a Christian apologist and author of Evidence That Demands a Verdict. [1] As a child, he was homosexually raped by his father, Wayne.[2] As a teenager, he an agnostic, atheist by default, who felt that Christianity was worthless, but when challenged to intellectually examine the claims of Christianity, he realized its truth and converted.[3] He attended Kellogg College and Wheaton College.[4] He has since become a Christian apologist and has forgiven his father.
