On October 19, 2016 the ''Shearer dossier'' written by Clinton operative [[Cody Shearer]]. Shearer gave his memo to Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal, who transmitted it to [[State Department]] official Jonathan Winer, who then gave it to [[Christopher Steele]], who it passed on to the FBI.
