Cornelius Harvey McGillicuddy, known as Connie Mack, IV (born August 12, 1967), is a Republican former member of the United States House of Representatives for Florida's 14th congressional district. He held his seat from 2005 to 2013. In 2012, he ran unsuccessfully against incumbent Demcratic U.S. Senator Bill Nelson. His great-grandfather was the baseball figure Cornelius McGillicuddy, I. His father, Cornelius Alexander McGillicuddy, known as Connie Mack, III, is a former U.S. Senator from Florida, elected in 1988 and 1994. Nelson, one of the political figures who made a trip into outer space, is again seeking reelection to the Senate in 2018.
Before his U.S. House tenure, Mack was a member of the Florida House of Representatives.
