Bishop Thomas Dexter (TD) Jakes is pastor of The Potter's House church in Texas. The church is listed by Christianity Today as one of the fastest growing in America. Their goal is to be a voice of spiritual hope to people of all races and denominations.[1] He describes himself as a political moderate.[2]
However, Jakes is controversial for his views on the Trinity, which have been described as either Oneness Pentecostal (which rejects the view of the Trinity) or Modalism; Jakes has avoided discussing the topic for the most part (some critics believe he does so deliberately).
