Generally ROTC programs are run through a Department of Military or Naval Science.

Nearly 300 colleges and universities currently host the 200-year-old ROTC program.[1] However, dozens of "prestigious" schools have eliminated ROTC due to their liberal worldview, claiming to protest America's involvement in war and later because of Don't ask, don't tell.
