He was survived by four daughters, Sherrie Carlon of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Toni Griffith and Tammie Griffith, both of Roseburg, [[Oregon]], and Deborah Jennings of Hensley, and a sister, Dorothy Herrod of Pine Bluff.<ref name=obit/>
