Stephen Colbert is a writer and actor. In his Comedy Central show, "The Colbert Report" (pronounced cole-BEAR re-POR) he pretends to be a Bush supporter and uses this stance to poke ironic fun at the Bush administration.
He coined the word "truthiness" to refer to statements which are factually untrue, but are nevertheless repeated by advocates who feel in their hearts that the statements ought to be true, and that it is thus quibbling to object to their falsehood.
He has poked fun at Wikipedia and its apparent democratization of truth, and caused trouble for Wikipedia by suggesting that his listeners alter articles.
