Scientists who believe in an old Earth believe that dinosaurs roamed between 230 million and 65 million years ago. Creationists believe that dinosaur bones were created by God to test the faith of believers. They believe that those who see the bones as a sign that the earth is older than 6000 years will be damned to an eternity in [Hell]].
Although lizards still exist, all dinosaurs are now extinct.
Dinosaurs are not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, although the behemoth in Job and the leviathan in Isaiah are considered by some researchers to represent the brachiosaurus and kronosaurus respectively. [1]
