:Maybe the Deut quotation really means "thou shalt not ''borrow'' the garb of the other gender"? Since, by simple definition, any clothing I might own is a man's clothing, so I can wear it. But if a woman friend owns something, it is a woman's clothing, and I may not wear it. Even if it fits, and looks good on me. ::I guess it would depend on what is considered male and female clothing. Is the definition dependent on any particular culture? Are skirts of all kind feminine clothing? At one time pants were not worn by women, but they are now. So are women that wear pants sinful?
