Although many departments were already slashing heir budgets due to an economic meltdown caused by the [[CCP global pandemic]] and [[China plague]] lockdown, [[communist]] and [[progressive]] city councils did not miss the opportunity to pander to the [[criminal]] [[Democrat]] voter base and claim victory over [[property]] owners, [[employer]]s, and law abiding citizens by creating a situation of lawlessness, fear, and uncertainty.
