Philbin currently appears appeared on ''Live With Regis and Kelly,'' and co-hosted ''Live With Regis and Kathie Lee'' from 1988 until 2000. Philbin appeared on the popular game show ''Who Wants to be a Millionaire'' and a few spin-offs of the show. He has also hosted as other game shows including ''Million Dollar Password'' and the first season of ''America's Got Talent''. Philbin holds the world record for spending the most amount of time on television.
Philbin retired from ''Live With Regis and Kelly'' on November 18, 2011.
Philbin has been married to his wife Joyce since 1970 and has four children, two with her, and two from a previous marriage with to Kay Faylan.
His yearly salary for his day time talk show from 2008 to 2011 was $21 million.
