Biden promises to make enactment of the [[Equality Act]] during his first 100 days as President a top legislative priority,  under which faithful Christians will be persecuted for obeying God and conscience. Biden states that while religious freedom is a fundamental American value, he opposes broad religious exemptions to existing nondiscrimination laws and policies across federal agencies and which he promises to reverse.

Biden intends to ban so-called “conversion therapy,”  which is akin to Islamic outlawing of conversion while promising to work to end suicide among young LGBTQ+ individuals who are five times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers.

In addition, Biden promises to decriminalize HIV exposure and transmission laws, under which such failures as not informing a partner of their positive HIV status, or in donating blood, or intentionally attempting to transmit HIV is a crime.
