The Terminator has spawned three sequels, ''Terminator 2: Judgment Day'' (1991), ''Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines'' (2003), & ''Terminator Salvation'' (2009).  A fifth film, ''Terminator: Genisys'', is due out on July 1, 2015.  It also spawned a television series, ''Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles'' (2008), which is an alternate continuity from the third movie.
