Robert Wadlow
The comparison between Wadlow and Goliath is for medical reasons only, as both suffered from gigantism. However, while Goliath was a fearsome soldier for the Philistines, Wadlow was a complete opposite; he was known as "the Gentle Giant" by Alton residents and was very well-loved by many.
