Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was a Supreme Court decision released on June 24, 2022 that overturned Roe v. Wade.
The vote was two fold: one part of the decision was 6–3 with Chief Justice Roberts and Justices Alito, Thomas, Barrett, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch voting to uphold the Mississippi law under challenge (which prohibited most abortions after 15 weeks from conception) and Justices Sotomayor, Kagan and Breyer in opposition. Contrary to the lamestream media, the vote did not overturn abortion nationwide, but simply returned the matter to the states.
Dobbs was the biggest victory for the pro-life and conservative legal movements in over 50 years.
