Some speculation exists that Floyd and his accused killer, Officer Derek Chauvin, may have been involved in a criminal enterprise together given their personal relationship and Floyd's involvement in counterfeiting, pornography, and illegal drugs. The possibility of the two selling drugs at the night club they worked together at has not been ruled out.  With the Minneapolis 3rd Precinct evidence room and records having been destroyed in the [[Marxist]] uprising, valuable evidence for [[federal]] investigators may have been lost.
