| − | : My attempt wasn't to censor that information (if it had appeared in the Pontius Pilate article, for example, I would have simply modified it) but to delete what I perceived as an irrelevant fact. The historicity of Jesus is a very complicated issue, as is the historicity of the Bible, and I'm not sure the Jesus article is well-served by arguments about the accuracy of the gospels.
