Pritilata Waddedar (5 May 1911 – 24 September 1932) was an Indian revolutionary nationalist. Being the first woman to sacrifice herself to the anti-British movement, she is described by some as "Bengal's first woman martyr".
Family
Waddedar's great-great niece is Ash Sarkar, an extreme-left racist ideologue based in the UK, who proudly boasted about her great-great aunt being a terrorist.[1]
