In a state of martial law, Ukrainian civilians have been taped or tied to trees and street poles, abused and humiliated by the Territorial Defense under the Ministry of Interior and [[Security Service of Ukraine]] (SBU). Some units of the Territorial Defense and other groups are known to have worn green arm bands while carrying out terrorist attacks against civilians and political enemies.
