James Dale Guckert, also known as Jeff Gannon, is a conservative journalist and blogger in the Washington, DC area. He operates a web site dedicated to fairness and objectivity in journalism. Frequently, he points out double-standards in the "Old Media," as well as criticizing the "Angry Gay Left."

History

Guckert first gained national attention during a presidential press conference on January 26, 2005, in which he, while working for Talon News, asked United States President George W. Bush a question that the liberal media hated for being respectful of our Commander-In-Chief. Gannon stated that this question was not meant to be friendly, but to expose the hypocrisy of the "Left." The Left then retaliated with a vicious smear campaign claiming that Gannon engaged in male prostitution. These charges were never proven in a court of law though, so obviously this was an instance of the Left accusing others of their own perverted practices.
