Created in 1970, the RAF has been responsible for many bombings, murders, robberies, and kidnappings in the post war era. The RAF had ties with Palestinian terrorist organizations. It is reported that some members of the group joined with Palestinian terrorist to hijack the 1976 Air France flight to Uganda.
