Suzanne Marie Bonamici (born October 14, 1954, age 71) is the Democrat Party representative from Oregon's 1st congressional district in the U.S. House, having been first elected to the position in a 2012 special election to succeed then-resigning David Wu. Bonamici is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and serves on the Climate Crisis Committee. She is also a sponsor of the totalitarian Green New Deal and Medicare for All bills.

Bonamici was named by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to the House Select Committee on Climate Change in February 2019.[1]

Along with other Oregon Democrats, Rep. Bonamici has pushed for the EPA to justify the usage of a pesticide deemed "highly toxic" to bees.[2]

Bonamici joined fifteen House Democrats in April 2020 calling for the immediate replenishing of the Paycheck Protection Program relief fund.[3]
