North Yorkshire Council is a council area covering the part of Yorkshire in England. It is a unitary authority formed in 2023, following the abolition of the two-tier, non-metropolitan North Yorkshire County Council and its eight non-metropolitan districts. It is not co-extensive with the North Riding of Yorkshire; it covers areas of the East and West Ridings as well.
