The Digg Patriots, also known as the DPs, are a group of around 100 conservatives and Tea Party members, who were active on the social media site Digg.com, as well as other sites across the Internet.[1] At Digg.com, they allegedly engaged in active censorship of posts, burying or voting down any post they perceived as being liberal, or progressive; upvote padding; conspiring to have liberal or moderate editors banned, while running multiple accounts in order to circumvent blocks received by their own members, known as sockpuppetry.[2]

Their actions were exposed after a year-long investigation, leading to most members being banned. They have since appeared to move to their own website, Politicollision.
