Chemistry is the study of the interactions of chemical elements and compounds according to the laws of God's universe. Along with physics, chemistry is one of the physical sciences, as opposed to biology which is a historical science that doesn't deal with laws, only observations. Chemistry is divided into Organic Chemistry which explains the interactions of carbon based compounds, and General Chemistry which deals with other chemical reactions. There are other sub-branches of chemistry including Physical Chemistry, which studies the physical properties of chemicals, and Petrochemistry which studies the chemical formation of oil and refining thereof.
Famous chemists include Niels Bohr, Michael Faraday, Ernest Rutherford, Linus Pauling, and Alfred Nobel who invented nitroglycerin and after whom the Nobel prize is named.
