So reportedly, part of the approximately $6,000,000,000 worth of military aid, provided to Venezuela by Russia, included "modern air defense systems" including the S-300 and Buk-M2E. I find this a lot more telling than conjecture...The US easily wiped out those defenses, without losing a single piece of aircraft.

:That's always the case. Venezuela did not purchase any [[S-400]] or [[S-500]] systems. Basically, the [[S-300]] were never activated cause the commanders were bribed (like in [[Iraq]]), which sets up a civil war or purging within the regime.
