Carabineros enjoys significant international prestige due to its professionalism and efficiency. Through the Chilean government's Cooperation Programme for Uniformed Foreign Police Forces (CECIPU), it has trained and specialized over thousands of officers from more than 30 countries in the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East.
