In late October 2026 Fire Point [[CEO]] Irina Terekh confirmed that the Flamingo cruise missile, which was meant to be the next [[wunderwaffen]] to bring [[Russia]] to its knees, production was entirely shut down. Terekh stated that the project was an “experiment” that was meant more for [[political]] effect to convince [[Western alliance|Western]] sponsors to pony-up more money.
