The Dallas Stars are a hockey team based in Dallas, Texas. They are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Stars started in the NHL in St. Paul Minnesota as the North Stars, but were moved to Dallas in 1993. The Coyotes play at the American Airlines Arena, also the home of the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA. The Stars would win the Stanley Cup their first and only time in 1998-99.
