The turkey is a type of Bird. According to the false theory of evolution, birds are direct descendants of dinosaurs. This is clearly not true, as many birds have beautiful plumage, something which all dinosars seemed to lack. Benjamin Franklin thought that the turkey should be the national bird of America rather than the the bald eagle. He claimed that since a turkey fights to protect its young under all circumstances, it represented America better. While this may be true, the Bald Eagle is clearly the most majestic bird to ever exist, and thus is a far better choice to be the American Bird. A turkey is most often the main dish at a Thanksgiving dinner, although in special circumstances a Cornish Game Hen is a delicious, albeit unorthodox alternative. A turkey is considered to not be kosher by many Rabbis, which is why it is considered such a great Christian food. A turkey is not completely unlike a chicken, and they were most likely created both with the same intention in mind by God, however the turkey was placed in the Americas and Chickens were placed in Europe. Moses probably had a hard time differentiating between the two 4000 years ago.
