Steven Milloy is a Canadian-born libertarian commentator[1] who is an adjunct scholar at [[The Cato Institute |Cato]], a think tank in Washington, D.C. Milloy focuses on scientific issues and publishes JunkScience.com and CSRWatch.com.
In September 2001, Milloy criticized an overhyped asbestos scare in the 1970s for forcing the removal of fireproof asbestos from the World Trade Centers and contributing to their collapse on 9-11. Milloy's controversial theory was supported years later by government reports and a book entitled "Eco-Freaks," by John Berlau.[2]
