The Seven Days' Battles were battles, which occurred in the American Civil War. They began on June 26 and ended on July 3. They happened when Confederate General Robert E. Lee decided to attack the Army of the Potomac under General George B. McClellan. The battles were indesisive for either side and only resulted in President Abraham Lincoln firing McClellan. Battles that occurred were: Mechansville, Gaine's Mill, Savage's Station and Malvern Hill. The total casualties of the battles were:
