Charles B. Rangel is an American politician. He has represented New York's 15th congressional district since 1971, Mr. Rangel is a Democrat.
Mr. Rangel was born in Harlem. He was raised as a Catholic. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1948. Sargent Rangel was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his service in the Korean War. Congressman Rangel has supported a return to the military draft.
