Dick Anthony Heller is a Special Police Officer in the Disrict of Columbia, (an armed security guard). He recently sued the Disrict of Columbia because they wouldn't allow him to keep a handgun in his home. This case is now the Supreme Court case Disrict of Columbia v. Heller, deciding whether Congress is able to regulate firearms, or even ban individuals from owning them.
