Family Guy is an animated television program. It details the life of "the Griffins," a fictitious family who live in Quahog, Rhode Island. It is very similar to The Simpsons.
Criticism
Due to its explicit content, the Parents' Television Council has named it one of the worst programs on television. [1]
The show also has a pervasive liberal bias. Creationists have been mocked in the show.[2]
The comedy aspect of Family Guy's writing is often criticized. One two-part South Park episode called Family Guy's jokes "irrelevant to the plot." The episode also showed Family Guy's writers as manatees who would put balls containing random ideas into a machine.
