ICR was founded by [[Henry Morris]] in 1970 as a wing of Christian Heritage College and became a separate entity in 1972.  Henry Morris has since passed on and his son John Morris is the current President.  Degrees are available at the bachelors and masters level.  The ICR recently relocated from California to Texas, where they are seeking accreditation from the state for their Masters of Science Education degree.  This has raised controversy.
