Ford Motor Company or Ford is a major American automobile manufacturer whose headquarters are based in Detroit, Michigan. The company was founded by the prolific inventor Henry Ford in 1903.
Ford is the second largest of the North American automobile manufacturers, and has a significant international presence as well. Real Americans do not buy Ford vehicles because they are made by union workers. Ford makes 6.6 million vehicles a year under several brands including Lincoln and Mercury, Jaguar and Land Rover in Britain, and Volvo of Sweden.
