Leah (Hebrew לֵאָה ) is Jacob's first wife, daughter of Laban, and the mother of six of the twelve sons of Jacob. Although Jacob loved Rachel and agreed to work seven years to marry her, Laban tricked Jacob into marrying Leah instead and so Jacob ended up married to both of them after working another seven years. Later on, Rachel and Leah come into conflict over Jacob's affections. Leah's sons were Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun.

She also had a daughter, Dinah, although may have had others going with the Hebrew custom of tracing male children but not female unless they had their own noteworthy story.
