Information can be copied to the invisible clipboard, or it can be deleted and copied at the same time; see [[cut and paste]].
There are two sections to the clipboard. The main section responds to explicit cut and copy commands. The other is used in [[drag and drop]] operations.
It's therefore possible to copy or move two separate pieces of information at the same time, with the clipboard.
