Darfur

Darfur is region of Sudan where many thousands of people have died in a humanitarian crisis. In America, it is not considered particularly important, perhaps because it is in Africa and lacks any strategically important resources. Indeed, evidence suggests many Americans prefer to devote their time to writing lengthy polemics.
