That explains why in every instance and every culture all men and women fall into such rigid roles. After all if these roles were in fact constucted that would mean some got the short end of the stick. Now that we know the reasons are biological, no one needs to feel oppressed or oppressive.

I had a hard time parsing the grammar of this. Is this an assertion, or what?

This one is incredible even by Conservapedia standards! "The traditional roles of men as breadwinners and women as homemakers" is an EXAMPLE of gender roles, not a definition. Dadsnagem2 15:43, 22 February 2008 (EST)

Straw man (woman?)

The argument that "feminists want women to not be homemakers" is a straw man. No feminists actually say that. Feminists want women to have the choice to be homemakers, or professionals. Please don't cast imaginary hateful views on groups you don't understand.-HankS 15:20, 21 March 2008 (EDT)
