Well, maybe when he was born again his body was healed. Because I don't think anyone was keeping watch over his body. They would have seen him rise, right? --[[User:Hammer|Hammer]] 19:12, 23 March 2008 (EDT)

I don't think Jesus really raised from the dead. Maybe he was faking his own death, and had his friends build him an underground fort to live in for a while, and then he could have just flown out of there when he ran out of food.

If he actually came back from the dead, though, he would have encountered a very significant problem - decomposition. Jesus would have been in the ground for a while, and bugs and other creepy-things would have started their feast. You'd think that the people that saw Jesus fly out of the ground and into the sky would have noticed whether or not his face had peeled from his head.

What do y'all think? --DJBlair 18:56, 23 March 2008 (EDT)

After being on the cross all that time, I think he would have been dead. If her hadn't, that would've been a miracle in itself. He was only dead for three days so he wouldn't have decomposed. He was obviously in some sort of burial clothing, so I doubt bugs could have "started their feast". :) --Hammer 19:01, 23 March 2008 (EDT)
Most people who try to argue this point approach it in a lot more serious manner than you do. I can tell you haven't done even any basic background reading. DanH 19:03, 23 March 2008 (EDT)

Hammer, I think that decomposition would have had an effect on Jesus' body during his 3 days under. He was roughed up pretty good beforehand, so he was already tenderized before they buried him. Also, because he had a lot of blood and flesh all torn up and whatnot, he would have made a great target for scavenging animals. I'd have to think that something would have taken a shot at him. Or else - do you think that maybe someone stood guard duty over the body, to make sure wolves and scorpions couldn't get to it?

Dan - what "basic background reading" do you think I should do? Better yet - tell me what it says so we can continue this. --DJBlair 19:09, 23 March 2008 (EDT)
