Hmm, a few things about me. I'm female, I'm an Electronics Technician in the Nuclear field. I'll flesh out the entries related to my field first. Yes, I use a proxy. I'll just take a look around here, and see where I should start with this writing stuff business...

Start with what you know
I read your electricity article, and as per your question as to readability, you are definately on the right track. I think it will be a very good entry.
