In the game, players can choose from many classes and races and log on to explore and battle monsters with other players from around the world.
The popularity of Everquest has fallen in recent years because of many players leaving to play newer MMOs such as Final Fantasy XI & World of Warcraft.
Everquest has been subject to criticism due to its sexualized characters, its Occultic themes and its tendense to cause addiction.
