Trilobites are an extinct form of arthropod. These creatures had segmented bodies, jointed legs and antennae. They came in a wide variety of sizes ranging from being under a millimeter long to being over two feet in length. Evolutionists believe that trilobites existed over 300 million years ago and went extinct at the end of the Permian period.
The trilobite is Ohio's official state fossil.[1]
