The term "infidels" is a term used by some muslims to refer to good christians, and they use the term as justification to wage Jihad, or holy war, on them through terrorist attacks. The term can also be used to be apply to any person whose belief system differs from yours in a significant way and thus should be considered OK to say about non-christiains too.
