In its constitution, adopted at the congress, the Comintern is described as "a union of [[Communist]] parties of all countries into one proletarian party, which fights for the establishment of the [[dictatorship of the proletariat]], for the creation of a [[world union of socialist Soviet Republics]], for the complete destruction of classes and the achievement of [[socialism]] - that first stage of communist society."
